BECOME AN ADVANCED PROVIDER

Next Class Scheduled for Fall 2024

Advanced-EMT is the next step up from EMT-Basic. In this class you will add to your knowledge that you obtained in EMT school. You will learn how to start IV's and learn about different medications you will be able to administer. The class is 180 hours, and is covered in a little over 4 months. You are required to have 96 hours of rotations with various categories of contacts that have to be obtained. Once the course is complete you will be able to take the National Registry tests for licensure. Click here for more information about the AEMT National Registry information.

AEMT Class Information

Requirements:

EMT License or have passed National Registry EMT
Be able to pass a drug test and background check
Be able to lift 125 lb on a stretcher alone or 250 lb assisted on a stretcher
Willingness to learn

Sign a payment plan if not paying in full

This is how the course will be taught:

Monday & Wednesday we will have class from 6pm to 11pm Central Time online on Zoho.
Lectures will be recorded and posted for students to review
There will be five section tests and numerous quizzes and homework assignments that are cumulative towards your final grade
75% overall grade will be needed to pass the class
